How did you discover Pilates and what do you love about it?
For weeks, I drove past the studio on my commute, always curious but never quite brave enough to stop. When I finally found the courage to walk in and sign up, everything changed. Now, Pilates is my essential mental reset; it’s the one place where my brain finally goes quiet, allowing me to be fully present in my body.

What do you love most about teaching?
Our bodies are capable of incredible things, often far more than we give them credit for. What I love most about teaching is guiding people toward that ‘aha’ moment—where they move past their perceived limits and truly connect with their own strength.

Describe the type of client you are uniquely qualified to teach?
My background in people management has given me a unique angle in coaching clients. I’ve spent years learning how to adapt to diverse personalities and different learning styles. This allows me to meet every student exactly where they are—whether you need foundational skills, modifications, anatomical cues or a more intuitive, flow-based approach. I love tailoring my teaching so that everyone, regardless of their background, feels seen and supported in their Pilates journey.

Tell us a bit about your life story.
I’m originally from Hudson NH and work ultimately brought me to the Shrewsbury MA. I always grew up active; I started dancing when I was 3 and continued through college. I went to college at Quinnipiac and graduated with a degree in Biochemistry. I started my career in the lab and climbed the ladder to a managerial position.

What is life like for you outside the studio?
I have a loving husband, two kitties (Maxwell and Merlin) and a dog (Hazel). When I have the time, I love to bake! I’m definitely part of the sourdough train and love making bread. Also, my husband and I enjoy taking Pilates lessons together!

How would your family describe your personality?
Inquisitive and motivated

If you were stranded on an island, what 3 things would you want with you?
1- My kindle because I would finally have time to get caught up on everything I want to read!
2- A satellite phone to call for help.
3- A hammock to relax while I wait to get rescued.

You’re dream vacation.
A safari in Africa, it’s on my bucket list because I absolutely adore the thought of seeing some big cats out in their natural habitat.

What’s one thing most don’t know about you?
Growing up, we rescued a baby squirrel after a storm and raised him for a year.

Favorite food: Ice cream!
Perfect morning: Snuggling in bed with the animals and a good book.
Fears: Spiders (eek!) and needles!
When you were little you thought, you were going to grow up to be? I honestly don’t think there was ever one solid idea of what I was going to be when I grew up. I’m still growing up and learning new passions in life!

Fun Facts:
Loves: Animals! If I could own a farm I would.
